Clues: Basic Escape

I just discovered Sphere this morning but I have a feeling I will be playing it for at least a few days. It is a pretty standard mystery game only without a crappy story line or cut scenes. (at least not so far) The game feels very clean and initially seems relatively challenging.

The game seems to focus on these white, black, green…spheres. So far I have no idea what they are for but I would guess they are used as keys of some form to unlock vital segments of the game. I am still in the first room so don’t take my word for it though.

I have a feeling the book with the frog, the picture on the wall with flowers, the plant hanging on the ceiling, the hook and the empty glass are all linked somehow. Also the paper behind the desk and the box in the drawer seemed linked but it appears you need something to slide into the slot after doing the combo…
